The Rugged Jane Tote
Handmade and handstitched from our most durable rugged leathers. A soft tempered body with two matching interior pockets and 9oz firm temper hickory bridle straps. Two O rings on the sides for an optional shoulder strap. (Shoulder strap not included) Without a shoulder or crossbody strap, the O rings make a great place to hang your keys. Prior versions of the rugged Jane have been done in various hides, but this has been everyone’s favorite thus far.
Solid antique brass Chicago screws used in place of rivets to make the handles and pockets replaceable if parts are ever damaged. If you just feel like swapping out those straps for short handles and a crossbody strap or maybe you want a different color, just contact us and we’ll get something on the bench for you.
These hides usually do come with a few small “imperfections” which you may or may not see in the images. These are natural scars or otherwise and we do not attempt to buff, sand, and paint over the natural character of the hide. For us it just has to be the pure, natural full grain leather. With a bag that has the “worn in” appearance right from the start, you get that truly aged, rugged look that we all really love about the “Rugged Jane”.
Bag measures 12x10x4 with 30 inch handles.
When ordered a standard shoulder strap will be adjustable at the buckle to measure 38-44 inches long. Matching antique brass hardware to complete the Rugged Jane appeal.
